I've only just learned of Richards passing, I'm in shock. Richard married my wife and myself back in 2005 and the service was amazing. My mum who's a lot like Hyacinth Bucket loved him and thought his colourful service was the best she'd ever attended. She said, it's a good job there's no more after you because no one could top him. He was a lovely, warm, caring and honest man and I feel privileged to have known him and to have been married by him. Thank you Richard, for your friendship and your service to others. God bless you.

I am proud to have known Richard over the past few years. We served together on the NEC of the Royal Artillery Association. We had many lively conversations in the Mess, and his
Contributions to the meetings will be remembered for years to come. RIP Richard.

Richard was a man of great faith. It was a faith he freely shared with others and as such he was a good Christian. But more than that, he was a human being who never pretended to be better than any of his fellow human beings which made his witness so very valid sincere and powerful. For that reason he was a good priest. We shall miss your visits Richard. Rev. John and Carolyn Derosaire.
